Hi folks,
I added a whopping 42 sets of background papers all done up in the colors from Pantone's UK & NY Spring & Summer 2018 Color Palettes. There are animal prints, stripes done 12 ways, glitter, satin, and rainbow sets all ready to be used in your fabulous creations :)! For Friday's update I will work on regrouping the animal prints & stripes so that they are in packs of assorted colors, rather than packs of assorted prints; so, if you prefer them that way, wait a few days before shopping.
If I have time, there will also be tartans and ginghams added on Friday but, I'm a bit busier than usual this week; so, that may have to wait until next Tuesday. We'll see :).
Here is a wee sample of today's update:
As usual, you can see the rest on the recently added items page of my shop and, here is your free background for this week. Just left click and save :).
Happy crafting :)!

Pantone 2018 Spring & Summer Color Fun
Hi guys,
Pantone has released their top 12 colors for spring & summer of 2018; so now I have new colors to learn. And, well, what better way to learn them than to play with them :)? Today's update is all about mixing and matching and playing with tones to get a feel for the new palettes (London & New York): 21 sets of background papers featuring beer, tools, a butterfly damask, romantic butterflies and grunge flowers in both monotone and color combination styles. It's a veritable rainbow smorgasbord :)!
As you can see, the palettes have quite a few colors in common but,
there are also several notable differences. The colors they share are Cherry Tomato, Blooming Dahlia, Meadowlark, Lime Punch, Pink Lavender, Almost Mauve and, or course, the color of the year: Ultraviolet. The differences lie in NY's Emperador (brown), Arcadia (teal), Little Boy Blue, Spring Crocus (pinkish purple) and Chili Oil (dark red) and London's Ash Mauve, Nile Green, Palace Blue, Rapture Rose (pink) and Spice Apple (dark red).
In creating the combination packs I tried to match up different sets of colors so that, if you buy both packs, you won't be getting many duplicates. You can see the combination packs in my shop.
The trending patterns for the warmer seasons are tropical prints, animal prints (which are apparently always in style hahahahahaha), glitter, satin, rainbow patterns, multi-directional stripes, monotone tartans and ginghams, and florals: soft, 60's style, and micro. These are what I will be working on next. After that I will start on St. Patrick's Day and whip up a few vintage beauties using a new style of card that I recently fell in love with before delving into Hindu inspiration, again.
Stationery and journaling sets will reemerge when I return to India :). In the meantime, I hope you're able to use the papers in your cards, scrapbooks and other creations.
Happy Crafting :),

Free Vintage Valentine Pocket Card Making Kit
Hi folks,
I'm baaack! Did you miss me ;)?
Hard drive crashed and, unbeknownst to me, my automatic backup had stopped running in August. Four months of templates, plans and potential bumper kits gone, just like *that* - not to mention all of the terrific graphics I'd hunted down to use in all of that. Oh well, nothing like a new beginning, eh :)?
I tried to create a new card last week but, since I was using my son's computer to tie my over, that didn't go so well. I needed more power :). Although, I did discover that his computer is better for gaming than mine; so, now I have to find out why. hahahahaha
After dealing with all of that, I decided to just create something simple to get my imagination working again. The result is a wonderfully romantic Hindu inspired gate fold card full of elegant lacy patterns with satiny trim. To keep things as simple as possible, I worked with Pantone's Spring/Summer 2018 color palette and, quite frankly, if I hadn't accidentally overwritten the template with a merged image, I'd have probably created another dozen! As it is, there are only 13 :).
You can find the complete collection in the usual place and, to tempt you into peeking, here are some of my favorites:
And, as promised, this week's freebie is a Vintage Valentine Pocket Card Making Kit :). It is the kit that resulted from the aforementioned failed attempt at graphics creation that led to me needing a break. hahahahaha
Happy Card Making :),

Free CU4CU Sassy Cheryl Valentine Clipart
Hi folks,
This week's update is one kit smaller than usual because the cold weather just did me in. hahahahahaha I'm a light-weight Floridian; so, freezing temps make me want to hibernate. And, by freezing I mean 60's. hahahahahaha Although, the temperature did drop to actual freezing for a day or two.
I've had nothing like you folks north of me are getting, though. I've heard a lot about the awesome weather, but nothing of damage or suffering as a result; so, here's hoping you're all keeping safe & warm. And, of course, have a blast playing in all that snow once the danger has passed! I am so envious of you for that :).
Here are this week's goodies:
As usual, there is more than meets the eye; so, pop on over to see the rest.
While on your way to check out the new stuff, stop by Facebook to share CraftsUPrint's post celebrating their 10 year anniversary so that you can snag yourself some free CU clipart! After sharing it, just click on the link in the description to download the freebie.
7 more rose themed stationery sets and 8 more qua-trefoil shaped Valentines to go before I start on new designs :). I even found a bit of inspiration to create Valentines for men with; so, look for those with the paper packs that I mentioned last week.
Stay warm ... brrrr,
Hafapea

New Valentines & Stationery - All 20% Off!
Hi folks,
I added three qua-trefoil shaped Valentines featuring the vintage Victorian images that I used to create the A5's at the end of last year and, as promised, a couple more stationery sets. Over the course of the next week I will be adding 6 more qua-trefoil Valentine cards and will, hopefully, finish up the last 9 rose stationery sets.
Either way, it will all be finished by the 14th so I can start on spring and St. Patrick's Day designs :). In between holidays I am going to spend a week whipping up a ton of background papers that I think you will love. I did a bit research (a.k.a. surfing :) ) and found some really great stuff!
Have fun :)!
