The excuse: “$5,000 will not even buy a decent chair.” So, let me get this straight: The people you are supposed to be helping with that $31k are deserving of what you consider to be substandard places to sit down and eat, yet it's OK for you to live large at their expense? Not even live, work! This is for their office?
Not to mention that I could buy a very nice dining suite for $5k. Hell, my sweet ass cushy $300 office chair cost me $25 because there's a ding and a scratch on the arm! People get rid of awesome furniture all the time and places like Goodwill and Habitat for Humanity ReStore sell it on the cheap! I could turn my house into the freakin' Taj Mahal for $31k!
If HUD recipients shop second hand, why can't those in charge of helping them? Why wouldn't they? Why the fuck are the people who are in charge of helping the less fortunate benefiting at their expense and why do some of "us" think they deserve to?
Republicans who believe that their "stocks earning dividends" justifies this type of B.S. and worse: This is just so fucked up in so many ways! (And, yes, that is the response that I have gotten from several of you in regards to all of the really bad things that this administration has been doing.) This is why you are against guns not being sold to the mentally ill: You people need some serious psychiatric help!
On a happier note, I added some really cute St. Patrick's Day cards to my shop, if you want to take a look. There are quick cards & toppers, as well.
FFS! Time for some art therapy: I need to go create more pretty pictures now.
Thanks for looking :)!
